Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lifestyle Options. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

The LPN is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to residents in an assigned area, adhering to recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards. You will work closely with the LPN Team Lead and the Director of Care to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing duties and services required by the Client Service Care Plan
  • Safe and appropriate administration of medication as per current Standards
  • Supervising HCA staff to ensure safe and appropriate implementation of client's service plans
  • Updating services for Health Care clientele
  • Performing invasive procedures as per accepted CLPNA standards and company policies
  • Teaching delegated nursing tasks to staff as per accepted practice standards
  • Facilitating team communication to provide safe and appropriate care services
  • Communicating with family, AHS, healthcare agencies, physicians, and others regarding the needs and well-being of the residents
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Valid license and registration in good standing with Licensing Body of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Healthcare Provider training
  • Current CPR and First AID Certification
  • Minimum 1 year in nursing in a seniors assisted living environment preferred
