They are seeking to enhance their Greater Toronto Area team with a Senior Environmental Engineer. The Environmental Engineer will be instrumental in driving the company's growth within Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a project engineer for water and wastewater initiatives throughout Ontario, managing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology evaluation, and leading the development of technical documents and reports.
  2. Act as a process engineer to support mechanical and/or hydraulic design during the construction phase of water and wastewater facilities.
  3. Work closely with Sales and Marketing to provide insights for budget development, while also engaging with clients to promote business growth, enhance the company’s reputation, and build relationships with municipal clients in the water sector.
  4. Participate in relevant professional organizations within the industry.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to collect, consolidate, and coordinate technical information to support project proposals.
  6. Offer supervision, guidance, mentoring, and technical assistance to engineering and technical personnel.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario.
  3. A minimum of 7 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering/processes, with significant exposure to the Ontario market.
  4. Proven experience in leading and completing technical, process, and design tasks for water-related projects.
  5. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  7. Experience in business development activities, including creating tailored proposal scopes and resource requirements for municipal clients.
  8. Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office, project management tools, and industry-specific software.
  9. Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.
