Position Overview

The role of the Executive Housekeeper involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department within a modest-sized establishment. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Working in a facility with fewer than 50 rooms.
  • Typical setting includes motels.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and their teams.
  • Conduct inspections of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and departmental policies.
  • Supervise and manage maintenance and repair services.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to housekeeping staff effectively.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 3-4 to 5-10 staff members.
