Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Valemount. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for housekeeping operations.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the required standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Coordinate contract services as needed to support housekeeping operations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports related to housekeeping operations.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
