Overview

Agricorp is seeking a Claims Services Team Supervisor to oversee the Claims Services unit within the Program Delivery division.

Role Summary

In the capacity of Claims Services Team Supervisor, you will serve as a proactive and inspirational leader, ensuring that team members are equipped to deliver exceptional administrative support for AgriStability, Risk Management Program, Production Insurance, and various other initiatives. This role reports directly to the Manager of Claims Services and collaborates closely with the leadership team. Your responsibilities will include:

Offering daily guidance and assistance to team members and fellow leaders in steering overall staff direction Ensuring adherence to corporate policies regarding vacation, attendance, and conduct Conducting coaching sessions aimed at enhancing team performance and professional growth Identifying and nurturing talent in alignment with corporate standards Performing formal evaluations of employee performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any performance-related concerns Developing contingency strategies to handle fluctuations in workload and unexpected disruptions Acting as a subject matter expert, providing insights and solutions in claims services Monitoring and escalating sensitive, high-risk scenarios to ensure customer needs are met Leading team meetings to communicate business objectives and disseminate company information Engaging team members in ongoing improvement initiatives Gathering feedback from both internal and external clients, analyzing the data, and recommending necessary changes Collaborating with specialists to conduct financial reviews and analyses on complex or high-value claims Participating in annual business and resource planning, along with goal-setting activities with your manager and other leaders Tracking trends, developing new processes, and maintaining standard operating procedures Staying informed about Ontario agriculture and industry developments Acting on behalf of the manager when necessary

Employment Status: Permanent position.

Work Arrangement: Full-time in-office, with options for remote and hybrid work
