What to anticipate when joining our team

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations concerning IT identity and access management for Petal employees. Your role will involve defining and maintaining IT profiles for all Petal positions, in collaboration with team managers.

You will implement access controls, policies, and procedures related to identity and access management, ensuring proper task separation and role-based access. Additionally, you will actively participate in periodic access review exercises and ensure that identified gaps are addressed within the access and identity management processes.

This position requires a physical presence in our offices a minimum of 3 times a week and up to 5 times a week.

Your daily responsibilities

In your daily activities, you will be expected to:

  • Provide on-site assistance to employees for their IT inquiries and requests (equipment and office software access, etc.);
  • Manage incidents and service requests assigned to you, ensuring they are documented in the ticketing system;
  • Process access requests in accordance with current access management policies and procedures for IT systems;
  • Maintain up-to-date operational access management procedures and assist process orchestration teams in automating access requests;
  • Collaborate with N2-3 technicians for complex requests or incidents;
  • Track and receive orders while managing local IT and office equipment inventory;
  • For new employees, prepare office equipment, grant necessary access, and provide training on office tool usage;
  • Support internal audit and compliance teams in gathering evidence on access requests and ensure timely communication;
  • Generate reports and statistics as required by management;
  • Actively engage in transformation initiatives and projects.

Your profile

Do you possess the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in a network environment? Are you customer service-oriented with strong learning, analytical, and synthesis skills? Do you consider yourself patient, persistent, and adaptable, capable of effectively managing stressful situations? If you have:

  • An AEC or DEC in computer science or equivalent;
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Mac and Windows);
  • Basic understanding of networking, VOIP telephony, DNS, Active Directory;
  • Ability to work in the office regularly (3 to 5 times per week);
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (an asset);
  • Since you will frequently interact with English-speaking colleagues outside of Quebec, complete mastery of English and French (spoken, written, and read) is required.
