About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Cascades Canada ULC. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Motor Vehicles: Conduct thorough inspections of motor vehicles to identify any issues or defects.
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Systems: Use testing devices to diagnose faults and repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist Skilled Tradespersons: Work alongside experienced technicians to learn and develop your skills.
  • Record and Report Work Performed: Accurately record and report any work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
