About the Role

Cascades Recovery is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of motor vehicles to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Work: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex issues with motor vehicles, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in motor vehicle repair.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
