Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Alberta Glass and Railing Ltd. as a Glazier Helper. This role involves assisting in various tasks related to construction, glass installation, and railing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with care and attention to safety.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Support medical examiners in charge during site visits and inspections.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Participate in demolishing buildings, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, prioritizing environmental safety.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including repetitive movements and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, and other protective gear are essential for this position.

  • Availability to work 30-35 hours per week.
