Job Title: Physiotherapist

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in pediatric medicine. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions in children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Support goal setting with patients and families around transition of care from pediatric to adult settings
  • Take on a teaching role for clinic learners (medical students, residents, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum two (2) years of pediatric Physiotherapy experience with involvement in the care of children with rheumatic conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), critical thinking, mentoring, coaching, and working within an interdisciplinary team
