Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at MOMIJI Japanese Fine Dining. This role involves preparing exquisite dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a culinary role.
Work Environment

The position is based in a fast-paced restaurant setting where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan menus, estimating the necessary food quantities for preparation.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including individual dishes and complete meals.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Prepare specialized meals for patients as directed by nutritionists or head chefs.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and maintaining records of food and equipment.
  • Ensure all kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Culinary Expertise

Specialization in Sushi preparation techniques and a deep understanding of Japanese cuisine are essential for this role.
