Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our growing team and contribute significantly to our expansion. Your role will focus on driving sales with retail partners of all sizes across the region and nationally. You will have the opportunity to represent the company at industry events, connect with retailers, and actively seek out new business opportunities and partnerships. We have experienced remarkable growth, increasing by 500% year over year, and aim to sustain this momentum in the years to come.

The ideal candidate is driven to be part of a dynamic startup environment, comfortable with meeting, pitching, and engaging retailers, possesses a strong network within the Canadian retail industry, and is eager to work hard while having fun in the process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive local and provincial sales strategy (including leveraging existing networks and attending conferences).
  • Connect with potential clients through email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Organize, prepare for, and lead impactful business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage the sales funnel using our CRM (Hubspot).
  • Evaluate and screen opportunities before involving the CEO and other team members.
  • Provide valuable feedback to product and operations teams.
  • Collaborate to refine the business model and pricing strategy.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Experience in B2B and/or SaaS sales and business development.
  • A well-established network within the e-commerce retail industry.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • A willingness to learn quickly.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the delivery or logistics industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot, Asana, and other relevant tools.
