Key Responsibilities:
- Select, identify, prefit, fabricate, assemble, and finish a diverse range of structural and non-structural components made from fiberglass, graphite, and other plastic materials using established methods.
- Prepare parts for bonding by positioning, aligning, and fastening them into layup tools.
- Remove completed components from layup tools and package them securely for shipment.
- Adhere to work orders, manufacturing plans, specifications, and quality standards while following established safety protocols.
- Utilize mathematical skills and precision measuring tools to fulfill work assignments accurately.
- Finish parts to specified tolerances and fit them into assemblies, as well as cut materials to size using appropriate tools.
- Operate various machinery and equipment for heating, testing, and curing processes.
- Prepare surfaces for subsequent operations, ensuring all necessary surface treatments are completed prior to applying coatings.
- Evaluate finished products against quality standards and perform necessary corrections as instructed.
Work Environment:
This position requires 100% onsite presence. The selected candidate will be expected to work at the designated location.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to successfully complete the Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES).
- Availability to work evening and/or midnight shifts.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
- Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of relevant aerospace manufacturing programs or experience.
- Formal training and education from an accredited institution.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This position is for local hiring in Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Compensation and benefits are determined by Canadian standards.
Compensation:
Starting wage is competitive, with additional premiums for evening and midnight shifts.
