**Assembly Technician Opportunity**
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Carfair Composites. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling high-quality products using hand tools, following safety protocols, and working in a collaborative team environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
- Assemble fiberglass parts and install hardware based on blueprints.
- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on fiberglass components.
- Cut, sand, and finish fiberglass parts to meet specifications.
- Document product non-conformities and issue Non-Conformance (NCP) tags.
- Train and support team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in using power tools and manual tools, especially in an assembly or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with working on fiberglass or similar materials is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues during the assembly process.
