Assembly Technician

About the Role:
As an Assembler at Carfair Composites, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling high-quality products using hand tools, following safety protocols, and working in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Assemble fiberglass parts and install hardware based on blueprints and specifications.
- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on fiberglass components to meet quality standards.
- Cut, sand, and finish fiberglass parts to meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Document product non-conformities and issue Non-Conformance (NCP) tags to ensure quality control.
- Train and support team members as needed to ensure a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in using power tools and manual tools, especially in an assembly or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with working on fiberglass or similar materials is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and quality to ensure high-quality products.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team to ensure collaborative and productive work environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues during the assembly process.
