Job Title: Facility Patient Care Manager

Join our team as a Facility Patient Care Manager and play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical health services and facility operations for a site/local geographical area within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to staff to achieve operational priorities of the service delivery organization (SDO)
  • Ensure strong communication pathways between onsite staff, scheduling, and managers
  • Reassign staff or request unit/department to provide service to care for patients and their families
  • Foster interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships to ensure high standard of patient care
  • Make decisions and ensure availability of staff based on sick calls and required short-term scheduling impacts
  • Support implementation and change initiatives
  • Manage emergency situations and support staff well-being and communication protocols
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in a patient/resident/client care setting
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited post-secondary education institution
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
