About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Sage Creek Medical Center Ltd. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and Analyze Medical Information: Gather and review medical histories, symptoms, and test results to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct Physical Examinations: Perform thorough physical examinations to identify diseases, injuries, and other health issues.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans to help patients manage their health and prevent illnesses.
  • Order Diagnostic Tests: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most effective treatment options.
  • Consult with Other Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide Counselling and Support: Offer guidance and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
