Sales Insights and Administration Specialist
Position Overview
The Sales Insights and Administration Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing JTI-Macdonald Corp.'s market presence by providing the Ontario Region with critical market intelligence, overseeing budget allocations, and assisting in the formulation of trade initiatives that maximize return on investment. The incumbent will also be tasked with sales forecasting, budget management, and inventory oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the Ontario Region's trade and operational budgets, including evaluation, analysis, and forecasting, while reporting to the Canadian Market Finance team.
  2. Project Regional volume performance and track sales figures against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  3. Assist in the creation, execution, and assessment of trade initiatives.
  4. Contribute to the development of annual and strategic plans.
  5. Conduct retail margin and pricing analysis or scenario evaluations.
  6. Serve as a liaison between regional sales and various head office departments (Finance, Business Processes, Logistics, IT, People & Culture, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Security, and Litigation).
  7. Manage database operations.
  8. Oversee inventory management.
  9. Supervise direct reports and manage office operations.

Qualifications:
A successful candidate must possess:

  1. A university degree in business management or finance (preferred).
  2. A minimum of three years' experience in business or sales analysis or a related field.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  4. Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational skills, self-sufficiency, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Capability to handle tight deadlines and multiple unplanned projects.
  7. Robust analytical, planning, and strategic marketing skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
  8. Expertise in Siebel Sales and Analytics, TM1, SAP, MapInfo (RSD tool), and Power BI.
  9. A collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
  10. A proactive, can-do attitude and a dynamic personality.
