Culinary Services Supervisor

The role of a Food Services Supervisor at Mr. Sub involves overseeing daily operations within a fast-paced food establishment. This position requires strong leadership skills to ensure efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
As a supervisor, you will be working in a dynamic setting that includes:
- Food service establishments
- Restaurants
Your main duties will include:
- Developing strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of food preparation staff.
- Training employees on their responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimating the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensuring food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Preparing and submitting operational reports.
- Overseeing the assembly of food trays.
- Creating work schedules for staff.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of:
- 3-4 food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Access to personal transportation is preferred, although public transport options are available.
Physical RequirementsThis role demands:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods, along with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.
Uniforms will be provided as part of the job requirements.
