Culinary Services Supervisor

The role of the Food Services Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary establishment. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage staff and maintain high standards of food quality and service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
The work environment may include exposure to various odours typical of food preparation areas.
Work Setting- Food service establishment
- Fast food outlet or concession
- Restaurant
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Physical DemandsThe role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and includes:
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Walking
- Engaging in physically demanding tasks
