Job Title: Clinical Veterinary Assistant

Job Summary

The Clinical Veterinary Assistant will work closely with our veterinarian to provide exceptional care to sick or injured animals. This role involves assisting with quarantine procedures, health assessments, and laboratory tests to determine the health status of animals. The successful candidate will also ensure that recommended treatments are performed as indicated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the veterinarian in providing care to sick or injured animals
  • Conduct laboratory tests under the supervision of the veterinarian
  • Manage quarantine procedures and health assessments
  • Ensure recommended treatments are performed as indicated
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma in Animal Health
  • Experience in a Pre-Clinical Research Center with laboratory animals or in animal care and surgery
  • Autonomous and organized with a good sense of initiative
  • English is a must, with functional knowledge and ability to speak French
