Job Title: Clinical Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Veterinary Assistant to join our team at ITR Laboratories Canada Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our veterinarian to provide exceptional care to sick or injured animals. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the veterinarian in providing medical care to laboratory animals
  • Conduct health assessments and perform laboratory tests as required
  • Manage quarantine procedures and ensure the health and well-being of animals
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • College diploma in Animal Health or related field
  • Experience in a Pre-Clinical Research Center or animal care and surgery
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • English language proficiency (French language skills an asset)
