Job Title: Payroll Administrator

YESA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
  • Benefits Administration: Prepare and balance period-end reports, maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime, and complete and submit documentation for benefits administration.
  • Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and provide excellent oral and written communication.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, payroll history, and benefits information.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
