Patient Transfer Attendant Job Description

**Role Summary**

We are seeking a Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team at Voyago Health in Newmarket, ON. As a Patient Transfer Attendant, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Transport patients safely and efficiently to their destinations
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
* Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
* Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and equipment

**Requirements**

* Valid First Responder Certification or equivalent
* Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification
* Valid G class driving license
* Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
* Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English
* Clean driving record
* Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
* Up-to-date immunization records
* High School diploma or equivalent
