Job Title: Vice President of Operations – Material Handling

Brandt is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee the Material Handling division. The successful candidate will lead the growth and development of the branches within the division, driving sales, service, and profitability while ensuring continuity with other operating divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgets for the branches within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Lead business development and supervision for the branches within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Present to stakeholders, including senior management, as required
  • Achieve sales growth and profitability for all areas in the division
  • Manage and develop employees within the Division to build a motivated and successful workforce
  • Establish targets for Managers and evaluate their performance using KPI's
  • Achieve market share goals for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Attract, develop, and retain employees
  • Communicate and action all directives established by Head Office
  • Focus on continuous improvement of the operating locations within the area of responsibility
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years in the material handling industry with 5 years in management and/or business operations experience
  • Degree or diploma with a business focus an asset but not mandatory
  • Previous sales and product support experience
  • Sound financial understanding and cost management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Valid passport and ability to travel
