Job Title: Vice President Operations

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Operations to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our organization, ensuring the effective implementation of our policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or executive staff and delegate authority

Requirements:

  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage a large workload
