Job Description

**Job Title:** Training Advisor - Corporate Trainer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Training Advisor - Corporate Trainer to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our corporate training team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training materials, including needs analysis, instructor training, eLearning content, and presentation decks.
  • Deliver training sessions to stakeholders, including managers and directors.
  • Facilitate question and answer sessions and create learning objectives.
  • Communicate with international teams and create materials in Spanish, which may comprise up to 50% of the role.
  • Respond to system knowledge inquiries and update training materials as required.
  • Build training materials and train stakeholders, with a 50/50 split between these responsibilities.
  • Run demos and train stakeholders themselves.
  • Create eLearning content using Articulate Storyline.
  • Draft communications, such as training invites and thank-you messages.
  • Keep attendance and records of trained individuals.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish, with fluent/professional proficiency.
  • 3-5+ years of experience creating training plans and delivering corporate training.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the end-to-end training process, from need analysis to evaluation.
  • 3-5+ years of experience training on technological solutions, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical audiences.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with Camtasia.
  • Ability to work independently within defined objectives and direction.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and functions, with changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work energetically and creatively in a team environment.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Skill/experience with accessibility requirements.
  • Any university undergrad program.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Certification in Adult Education, with demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and design and development principles and methodologies.
  • Change management experience.
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline.
  • Experience with Adobe Indesign, Photoshop.
  • Experience with global implementation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developing storyboards for eLearning programs.
  • Experience with online delivery.
