About the Role

Sierra Space is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Project Manager to oversee projects and leases managed by the Real Estate & Facilities team. This role encompasses project management, understanding and managing leases, and supporting financial planning and strategic facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Real Estate & Facilities projects, ranging from smaller facility improvements, move planning and collocation of team members to full construction projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Partner with Industrial Engineering teams to integrate operational efficiencies and ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any risks and scope changes.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders.

Lease Administration

  • Review new leases for accuracy and support legal teams with final approvals.
  • Communicate key lease details (e.g., term, base rent, utilities) with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and manage rent payments, and coordinate with property managers on additional charges.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for property managers/landlords, addressing lease and payment issues.

Financial Planning & Management

  • Assist finance teams in planning operational expenditures (opex) and capital expenditures (capex) for real estate and facilities.
  • Create opex budgets and support estimating capex costs for projects.
  • Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate asset IDs and financial planning.
  • Review and approve invoices and IPRs for accuracy and proper budget allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, construction management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate project management, lease administration, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning and lease administration.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management and financial software.
  • Self-starter with a strong focus on process improvement
