Job Overview

Your Responsibilities:
  • Foster an analytical mindset and curiosity, taking ownership of projects while effectively identifying business challenges.
  • Engage closely with stakeholders to comprehend and pinpoint insights, delivering recommendations for their business issues, and steering project directions through prototyping, requirements definition, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the initial phases of analysis.
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge in the role, leveraging expertise to propose solutions for business challenges.
  • Articulate your findings clearly and succinctly.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the investment sector.
  • Understanding of investment accounting and NAV valuation for private equity funds, hedge funds, or mutual funds, including aspects like carried interest and management fees.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and derivative instruments.
  • Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Geneva, or Yardi is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to derive business-relevant conclusions.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, particularly with large datasets, utilizing pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Extensive experience in managing business stakeholders, including requirement gathering, recommending options, and presenting insights to executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing capabilities.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
