About the Role

As a Team Lead at Roots, you will play a key role in driving sales and customer satisfaction in our retail stores. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that store operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Motivate and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist in the operational functions of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Customer Obsession: Demonstrate a customer-obsessed selling culture and build brand loyalty through excellent product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with store management to execute action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of all store operational activities.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach associates on customer service fundamentals and provide positive feedback to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Oversee and delegate tasks to the team to best maximize efficiency of store operations, and assist in resolving customer service matters.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of related experience in a retail apparel environment, with luxury retail experience a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to successfully lead a sales team and viewed as a leader among peers.
  • Operational Skills: Proven experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and submitting timely reports.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Availability: Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays.
