Plasterer Specialist

Best Way Constructions is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate completion of tasks.
- Apply Plaster Coats: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Clean and Prepare Surfaces: Clean and prepare surfaces for plaster application, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Cure Plastered Surfaces: Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability and longevity.
- Install Corner Beads: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a smooth finish.
- Finish Corners and Angles: Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
- Mix Plaster Ingredients: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Install Ornamental Plaster Panels: Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add a decorative touch.
- Position and Secure Sheets: Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable and secure finish.
- Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for the project to ensure accurate budgeting.
Work Environment: This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
