Job Title: Plasterer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Best Way Constructions. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
  • Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills

Work Environment: The Plasterer will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands.
