Position Overview

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for overseeing various roadway projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will guide the project from conception through to completion, making a significant impact on our community's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate roadway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in civil engineering to provide innovative solutions for public and private sector clients.
  • Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology may also be acceptable.
  • Professional Engineer registration with APEGA or eligibility for registration; C.E.T. registration with ASET may be considered with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, particularly within the transportation sector.
  • Experience working as a consultant on roadway projects for municipal and provincial transportation agencies is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a strong focus on business development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
