Capleo Global LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects, project resources, and project governance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with business stakeholders, developing project deliverables, and managing complex software application development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring effective project communication and risk escalation as required.
- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to develop a well-defined project plan, including objectives, scope, timeline, resource requirements, risks, benefits, and budget.
- Document and report project status against established objectives, milestones, budget, and resources, and facilitate tracking and closure of issues and risks.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across the organization, from front-line staff to executives.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels, including strategic, architectural, and technical discussions.
- Experience working in or for the public sector, with a focus on government and vendor-wide information management/information technology initiatives.
- Experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field of study.
- Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Experience developing project deliverables, including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, and project closures.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience working as a Project Manager on a large, complex custom software application development project in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.
- Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, troubleshoot, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage stress and conflict.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Experience conducting, facilitating, and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
- Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project.
