Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy education programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • A minimum of two years' hospital experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize workload, establish priorities, function effectively and efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide instruction and/or supervision to students.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the functions of this position.
