Motel Managing Supervisor Job Description

Mary's Motel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient operations
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as needed
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure business continuity
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Dependability, flexibility, and strong team player skills
  • Ability to provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
  • Ability to provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Ability to provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
