About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Thompson, MB. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing a positive experience for all.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance, providing valuable insights for our management team.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for our team members, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Supervision: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, fast-paced and physically demanding.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 hours per week.
