Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at QUIZNOS SUB. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
  • Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and comfort.
  • Public transportation is available, making it easy to commute to work.
