Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Hut. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
Support for Youths:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
