Position Title: Neurophysiology Technologist

Organization: The Royal Mental Health Centre

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individuals for overnight sleep assessments and related evaluations
  • Monitor individuals throughout testing to ensure safety and quality
  • Conduct CPAP/Bi-Level titrations for sleep-related disorders
  • Analyze data recordings and generate reports for medical professionals
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic health system
  • Assist with administrative functions within the laboratory
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and anti-discrimination regulations
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent certification
  • Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Understanding of infection control practices
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and making quick decisions
  • Current CPR and WHMIS certification
  • Fluency in English (bilingualism in French is advantageous)

Compensation Range: $36.84 to $50.24 per hour
