Neurophysiology Technologist

Job Summary:
The Royal Mental Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Technologist to join our team. As a Neurophysiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Polysomnographic Recordings: Set up patients for overnight sleep studies, nap & alertness tests, and monitor patients undergoing testing to ensure patient safety and maintain high-quality recordings.
- CPAP/Bi-Level Titrations: Conduct CPAP/Bi-Level titrations for patients with sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Documentation and Administration: Maintain required documentation on the electronic health record (EHR) and assist in administrative functions of the laboratory.
- Compliance and Safety: Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies, and procedures of The Royal, and ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal's Anti-Racism, Harassment & Discrimination Free policy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), and CPR Certification Level B within the last 12 months.
- Language Skills: English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
Salary Range: $33.94 to $39.07 per hour
