Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at The Royal Mental Health Centre. As a Diagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting polysomnographic recordings, monitoring patients, and maintaining high-quality recordings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up patients for overnight sleep studies, nap & alertness tests, and monitor their progress.
  • Conduct CPAP/Bi-Level titrations for patients with sleep-related breathing disorders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with infection control standards and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Respond to rapidly changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Registration with a relevant professional organization, such as RRT, REEGT, RN, or RPFT.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPR Certification Level B and WHMIS update within the last 12 months.
  • English proficiency (Level A-) and bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Salary Range: $33.94 to $39.07 per hour
