About the Role

Carewest Innovative Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Allied Health Practice Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting excellence in Allied Health practice and advancing the field through evidence-based practice, systems leadership, and evaluation and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Allied Health guidelines and protocols
  • Identify opportunities to increase Allied Health practice based on best evidence
  • Consult with stakeholders to plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives
  • Lead the Allied Health team in consultation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
Requirements
  • Masters level degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy
  • Active or eligible for practice license and professional registration in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • PROSCI Change Management certificate and AHS Change management modules
  • Alberta Health Services Improvement Way (AIW) Green Belt certification
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in healthcare education, leadership, or professional development
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience in continuing care, focusing on rehabilitation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management and change management knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and lead change from an evidence-based perspective
  • Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and experience
