The Restaurant Operations Executive is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic leader to oversee the daily functions of a single dining establishment. This position demands a commitment to customer satisfaction, team management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the operational success of the restaurant, ensuring alignment with customer service promises and achieving desired outcomes such as increased sales and employee retention.
- Lead the management team in maintaining financial controls, operational efficiency, staff development, and compliance with company standards across all shifts.
- Ensure the accurate preparation and sale of menu items while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
- Implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
- Inspire and guide team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences through prompt, friendly service in a clean environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to create and communicate action plans aimed at achieving productivity targets, including inventory management and labor cost control.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members and managers regarding operational processes and policies.
- Manage the restaurant's profit and loss by executing effective marketing strategies, adhering to cash control procedures, and maintaining inventory oversight.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct performance evaluations for both management and team members.
- Lead recruitment, selection, training, and retention efforts to build a strong team, while addressing any disciplinary matters as necessary.
