Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at N.B. Inc. dba Dairy Queen Amherst. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost control strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform labor scheduling and inventory management decisions.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Plan and execute daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in English.
