Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary training, resources, and support to excel in their roles.
  • Client Focus: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Task Management: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient operation of the hotel, including maintaining computer systems, equipment, and arranging repair work.
  • Recruitment and Training: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient hotel operation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, initiative, organized, team player, accurate, client focus, dependability, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

The Hotel Managing Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, tight deadlines, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disasters. The Hotel Managing Supervisor will play a key role in recruiting and supporting these individuals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to succeed in their roles.

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in English and have excellent communication skills.
