About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our Design team in the Architecture Group, based in one of our New Brunswick offices – Fredericton, Saint John, or Moncton.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in planning and manage the implementation of the production of architectural technical documents, including all drawing packages, and the full interdisciplinary coordination of the technical documents;
  2. Monitor the timeliness and quality of architectural technical document submissions to the Client and other project stakeholders;
  3. Manage the preparation of all architectural technical document packages and related submittals related to planning, obtaining approvals, specifications for trade services to be procured by the Construction Manager (CM);
  4. Work with the architectural, engineering, and specialist resources to ensure resources are coordinated, mobilized to perform the services in compliance with the Contract;
  5. Participate in preparation of project reports and status updates, as may be required;
  6. Lead and/or participate in regular project meetings and ensure that stakeholders are well informed on project progress and best efforts are exerted in meeting their needs;
  7. Prepare and manage Project Plans and Schedules;
  8. Assist the team leadership in ensuring that all required resources are assigned to the project and clearly tasked;
  9. Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality, and schedule targets;
  10. Responsible for project setup including contracts, accounting requirements, and schedules.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 7 years as a licensed Architect;
  2. Previous experience working on large/medium scale projects;
  3. Must be a licensed Architect in New Brunswick or immediately eligible for licensure;
  4. BIM360, Revit, and Bluebeam experience would be an asset;
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software is required;
  6. Strong SketchUp skills;
  7. Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, experience an asset;
  8. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
