About the Role

Flex-N-Gate, a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal departments to inspect and validate parts, ensuring adherence to customer expectations and specifications.
  • Verify the content of containers for proper part application and conformance to specified requirements.
  • Inspect and verify shipping labels, packaging, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a daily report of inspection activities and communicate any concerns to supervisors and department managers.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills, including CHRF.00003 New Employee Orientation, Supplier Releasing & Scheduling, Calibration, Internal Auditing, and more.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to physically inspect company property and assets.
  • Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination skills.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two to four years of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively, along with basic mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of molding, paint, or assembly processes preferred.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
