Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at RGBSI. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process changes.
  • Develop and execute standardization processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure quality goals are met.
Requirements
  • Reactive Black Belt and Green Belt training and completed projects.
  • A minimum of years Powertrain Quality experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Engines & Driveline components.
  • Thorough understanding of structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Requirements
  • Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
  • Experience launching engine programs.
  • Manufacturing, design release, and or supplier quality experience are strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, and driveline components strongly desired.
  • Experience working in a lean/flat organization with cross-functional skills.
  • Ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Capable of planning and prioritizing, including the ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency, and create action plans.
  • Experience and ability to follow ISO/TS and APQP processes to launch and monitor engine manufacturing.
Education
  • Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
