About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at GSD Law Professional Corporation. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, including coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Communication: Coordinate with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timely responses.
  • Record Keeping: Record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings, or conferences, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
